Planning gone wrong

Aberdeen railway station, 16.41. Train to Glasgow leaving 18.28.

I’m sitting at a cafe with my friend, sipping “luxury hot chocolate”. We don’t have fancy hot chocolate with marshmallows in Norway. We have 2 1/2 hours to kill, yet I don’t mind.

The waitress was so nice, that’s also something you don’t see very often in Norway. “You’re from Norway? What brings you to Aberdeen?” She asked. “We’re visiting my brother in Glasgow”

We sit at the cafe, talk and play cards. We don’t mind. The travel, the waiting, it’s all a part of the adventure!
